Ans. Mr. Gessler was respected as the best bootmaker of London. But he was he was not successful in his trade as he was not a practical mam and didn’t change with the phas of time. So, he went on loosing his customers. Finally he became unsuccessful and started to death.

Q.5. Big firms are selling their products and making hold on the market through advertisement, offers and big shows. Low scaled and skilled artists are being out of trade. How? Give your own opinion with the reference to the lesson. ” Quality”.

Ans. Mr. Gessler rightly said in the lesson” Quality” that big firms don’t have self-respect. They get work or business not through their good work, or hard labour, or quality, but they do it all by advertisement. This way they snatch work from good workers as Mr. Gessler who love their work. It comes to a result that good workers or small shops get every year less work and they are thus forced to close their shops or to face starvation which lead to death. And thus had died Mr. Gessler. So , we see that big firms are against quality and only concerned to bag anyhow money; just a matter of greed …… It’s crime.
